Who is the most down-to-earth celebrity? by @Rahul361raj
Answer by Rahul Raj:
It’s Google CEO Mr. Sundar Pichai. Recently, he visited his alma mater IIT Kharagpur and I got a precious chance to see him in person. He is really very down to earth. All the time, he behaved like just a normal person. Not for a single second, he made anyone feel like he is the CEO of the technology and innovation giant Google.
He went to his hall where he used to live during his college days and met with the mess staffs and workers. He greeted them and was happy to meet them.
When mess workers presented him bouquet, Sundar folded his hands as a token of respect.
And there wasn’t any ego or sense of being superior in his attitude.
Sundar Pichai sitting on a cot during an interaction with the women of Gokulpur village near Kharagpur. Google is giving training to the women under its 'Internet Sathi' programme.
He played cricket with children at Gokulpur village.
He is being offered a cap with his name on it by a woman during an interaction with the women of Gokulpur village.
And he interacted with the women sitting amongst them just like another normal person.
He went to see his room where he used to live during his college days.
B-308 it was!
And interacted with student with a sense of personal touch.
TVF’s founder Arunabh Kumar presented him the Hall T Shirt and look, how much happy he is!
Look at him. So calm and serene.
He himself checked Google's free Wi-Fi services at Kharagpur railway station.
Moreover, when some student asked him, “How can I replace you at Google?”
He calmly and cheerfully answered, “ I would tell him ‘Be careful about what you wish for’, but I would be happy to discuss it over a cup of tea”.
He is surely the most down to earth celebrity I have ever met!
